Our story
We started this journey with a simple belief that authentic Japanese matcha should stay true to its roots.
As matcha has become popular around the world, its meaning has also grown diverse. Yet, we feel that the true essence of Japanese matcha. Its craftsmanship, purity, and connection to the land is sometimes lost in translation.
Our mission is to share that authenticity.
We work directly with a fourth-generation organic tea farm in Wazuka, Kyoto a father and daughter who continue their family’s legacy with care and pride. Their matcha is grown without pesticides or synthetic fertilisers, nurtured only by soil, sunlight, and patience.
By sharing their craft with the world, we hope to bring genuine Japanese quality to those who truly appreciate it — and to make sure the profits return to the hands of the farmers who deserve them.
This is our way of protecting tradition, sustaining our communities, and passing on the spirit of Kyoto’s tea culture to the next generation.
